Therapy Services

The Therapy Department at Parmer Medical Center provides evaluation and treatment to patients in the acute areas of the hospital, to patients in the Swing Bed program, and to Outpatients.

Inpatient acute treatment may include exercises, modalities for a wide range of neurological conditions, orthopedic conditions, general debilitating disorders, and wound care. The Outpatient program offers similar services plus Aquatic (swimming pool) Therapy, Work Conditioning and Work Hardening.

At Parmer Medical Center, the physical therapists are members of a health care team that include physicians, nurses, occupational therapists and speech therapists who work together to assist the patient in reaching his or her highest level of independence. For more information, please contact us.
