Jeff S. Dickson, MD
Parmer Medical Center is proud to have Dr. Jeff Dickson as a member of the PMC healthcare team. Dr. Dickson grew up here in Friona and came back after leaving the area for college, medical school and his residency training program. He had a variety of choices of where to settle and build a practice, but he wanted to come back here. Why Friona? He says he “likes living in a small town. It is close to a lot of activities and this is where I was raised.”
Dr Dickson and his wife Becky have six children and four grandchildren. Some of his proudest moments in life have been his marriage to Becky, the birth of their children and grandchildren, and watching them succeed in life. Dr Dickson is also very proud when he is able to “help his patients succeed in becoming more healthy and happy. Seeing them stop smoking, lose weight, exercise and eat healthier.” Things on Dr Dickson’s healthy living list include spending time with Becky and the kids, participating in their school activities and sports, and outdoor activities of all sorts. Dr Dickson likes to read and is quite a good cook!
As a physician, Dr Dickson encourages his patients to “eat less and move more! And, he says to be sure to get all your routine screening exams done” in order to stay on top of your health status.
